Hobe Sound and Jupiter Island are the only towns we roof outside Palm Beach County. The same crews and the same license work Jupiter and Jupiter Island.

The county line changes one thing: the permit office. Which office you get depends on your address. A roof on Jupiter Island files through the Town of Jupiter Island Building Department. That town keeps its own material approvals and setback rules. A roof in Hobe Sound proper files through Martin County. We work with either one. The engineering goes in with the permit. We see it through to the final wind-uplift certification.

The estimate starts on the roof. We photograph the deck, fasteners, and flashing before we price anything. The photos come to you with the number.

Jupiter Island
Oceanfront estates. The town runs its own building department
Loblolly
A yacht and golf club community. It sets its own design standards
The Medalist
Golf course homes. We agree on access and quiet hours before the first tear-off
Hobe Sound Golf Club
Wooded lots. We pick a roof color that blends with the tree line
The Soundings
A boating community on the Intracoastal. Salt-rated hardware on every install
Bridgeview
Waterfront estates that face open water. We spec the fasteners to match

Salt and wind set the spec.

This strip of land sits between the Atlantic and the Intracoastal. A roof here spends its whole life in salt air. Salt goes after the fasteners and the flashing first. It gets to them years before the surface around them wears out. So our coastal spec runs 316-grade stainless steel fasteners and Factory-painted flashing. The closer your roof sits to the water, the heavier we spec it.

Wind is the other half. Design wind speeds along this stretch are among the highest in the country. Where the exposure calls for it, we install systems carrying Miami-Dade product approvals. That is the strictest product testing done in Florida. The wind-lift engineering goes into the permit package before tear-off starts.

What stands behind the roof.

On a shingle roof we can write GAF's Golden Pledge. It covers materials and workmanship for as long as the original owner keeps the house. The first 50 years on materials are paid at full value. Workmanship is paid at full value for 25 to 30 years, depending on the shingle line. Those terms are written for single-family detached homes owned by individuals. Any other owner or building type runs on GAF's separate commercial and multifamily document. The terms there are different. We can write that warranty because we hold Master Elite standing with GAF. GAF grants that certification to fewer than 2% of all roofing contractors. Tile carries the tile maker's warranty plus our workmanship. Standing seam is formed from American sheet steel, and our workmanship stands behind the install. The breakdown by system is on the roof replacement page. The certification itself is on the GAF certification page.

What a new roof costs here depends on the roof more than the town. The cost page walks through what moves the number. If a storm opens your roof, see the emergency roofing page. It shows how we tarp and dry a roof in. Tequesta is the next town south, across the county line, and has its own page. Jupiter is on the homepage.
