The standard this site is built to.
The target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, at level AA. That is the current version, published by the World Wide Web Consortium in 2023, and it is the one this site was designed and coded against from the first page.
The statement covers www.luxebuildergroup.com and the pages inside it. Where a page hands you off to a service run by someone else, that service is outside what we can test or repair.
What that looks like in the pages.
- Structure
- Headings run in order and name the section under them, lists are marked up as lists, and the address in the footer sits in an address element. A screen reader gets the same outline of a page that a sighted reader gets by scanning it.
- Every page opens with a skip link. Press Tab once on arrival and the first thing you land on is a control that jumps past the navigation straight to the main content.
- Keyboard
- You can reach everything clickable with the Tab key alone, and the focus indicator is a solid two-pixel outline set two pixels clear of the element, so it reads on the white panels and on the gray page ground alike. The horizontal photo rails take focus and then move with the arrow keys.
- Nothing on the site traps focus. The photo rails advance only when you ask them to. One element moves on a timer: the review rotation. It carries a visible pause control, stops entirely when your system asks for reduced motion, and pauses while you hover or focus it.
- Text contrast
- Colors were measured against their backgrounds rather than picked by eye. Body text runs at 16.78:1 on the page ground, secondary text at 6.48:1, and links at 6.32:1, against the 4.5:1 that level AA asks for. White type on the teal buttons measures 4.89:1.
- One light gray in the palette measures 3.16:1. It is restricted to hairlines and section rules and is never used for words.
- Photographs
- Every photograph carries a written description of what is in the frame, composed by someone looking at the picture. A real one from this site reads: "A large white Mediterranean house under a new terracotta barrel-tile roof, with a two-story arched window wall, an arcaded loggia, and a lap pool and spa on the terrace below."
- Photographs are never captioned with a roof system we cannot confirm from the job record. Decorative marks carry no description at all, so a screen reader passes over them instead of reading noise aloud.
- Motion
- Smooth scrolling and every fade on the site switch off when Reduce Motion is on in your operating system, and the site notices if you change it partway through a visit.
- Tap targets
- Controls are sized for a thumb. Buttons, the phone bar pinned to the bottom of the screen on mobile, and the photo controls all run between 48 and 56 pixels on a side, against the 24 by 24 pixel floor WCAG 2.2 sets.
- Text size
- Type is set in units relative to whatever base size your browser is already using, so raising the default text size in your browser settings enlarges the page instead of breaking its layout. That base is left exactly where you put it.
Where the site falls short.
These are the gaps we already know about.
- No outside audit
- Testing was done by the people who built the site, using a keyboard and a screen reader. An independent auditor has not been through it, and the testing has not covered every combination of browser and assistive software in use.
- The photo rail
- The rows of finished roofs scroll sideways, and their scrollbar is hidden by design. The two arrow buttons above each row are the visible cue that more photographs sit off to the right, and when a row reaches the end of its travel the spent arrow dims rather than disappearing. Swipe, trackpad, and arrow keys all move the row, but if the arrows scroll out of view at high zoom, that cue goes with them.
- Borrowed components
- Two interactive pieces, the answer panels on the questions section and the menu drawer on phones, run on code written outside this project. We test them and we would rather own them, but a defect in that code is not always ours to repair on our own schedule.

You do not have to wait for the fix. Whatever the page was supposed to do for you, a person here will do directly over the phone: read you what is on the screen, take your details for a quote, book a time for us to come and look at the roof. How this statement is kept current.
Last reviewed August 2026. It gets read again whenever a new page ships, and the contrast, focus, and target sizes get retested when the shared parts of the site change, since those shared parts land on every page at once.
